José hospital. The work at this hospital’s wing included the replacement of various features, equipment and the roof, that had been substantially damaged due to a fire which took place on the premises. The aim was for the area to be as clear as possible, including only those items which were essential for its good working order. The use of materials and colours was carefully considered, taking into account not only the hospital’s programme itself but mainly comfort and visual richness for patients, in order to make their stay in the hospital as dignified as possible.
